So a couple of coworkers were talking about Def Leppard today. I don't remember why. I think it was creeping hairband nostalgia.
Anyway, one of them was saying that she really *really* loves drummers and went on to say that drummers are the coolest thing in the world, etc, etc, etc.
She then goes on to exclaim (and I quote):
"That guy from Def Leppard is such an awesome drummer! He can play the drums with one arm!"
I paused for just one beat and corrected her, saying:
"No. He
has to play the drums with one arm."
...
It got a huge laugh. Why?
