Nugget of the Day - Peter Dayton

New wave from Boston, 1980:

Accompanied by photos from the New Wave Fashion Show, 1980. Dayton was one of the people featured on Sharp Cuts, and was one of Ric Ocasek's earliest production clients.

He was also the original vocalist for La Peste, but left in 1979. He later moved to France and became a "lip-synch singer on French tv," whatever that means.

EDIT: I know what lip-synching is, of course. I just don't know if one can do it as a full-time career in France. Just figured I'd better clarify that before some wiseacre decided to school me on the definition of lip-synching.
