And then there's Jane Birkin & Serge Gainsbourg's "69 annee erotique" (remade by Mick Harvey & Anita Lane as "69 Erotic Year.") Huh, 1969 was a big year for song titles. Tho in this case I think the inspiration was the same as the Bryan Adams song, i.e.; not neccesarily about the year, if ya know what I mean, nudge nudge wink wink. Perhaps only the Stooges thought that sometimes, a year number is just a year number.

- the last half of decades are sung about much more than the first half, for some unknown reason.
- There are almost no songs about that crazy swingin Jazz Age, the 1920s
- and are there no Depression/Dust Bowl songs about the '30s?
- And songs about years that end in 1 or 2 are exremely rare.
