This past Saturday, I was at the pool in my neighborhood, and the local oldies station was playing on the clubhouse stereo. To my amazement, right after the Beach Boys' "Dance, Dance, Dance," I heard "Brass in Pocket." So, at least according to my local oldies station, The Pretenders qualify as an oldies act. Maybe I'll call and request "Tattooed Love Boys."
