This is just odd...the story of Shakespeare set to the tune of "Shayla" by Blondie.

It's well done, but it's weird to see it done at all. A parody song - though parody doesn't really seem to be the right word, but I can't think of what else to call it - set to a deep cut from a thirty year old album is not something one sees every day.

They mention that Shakespeare's plays were comedies, tragedies, and histories (and that he wrote poetry) but no mention of his "problem plays." harrumph.

Speaking of Ren Faire types has anyone ever endured "Blackmore's Night" -Richie Blackmore's Ren Faire type "band"?

I never knew they existed for the longest time and when I heard them I thought it was some kind of goof. Apparently not though.

I have. It's more like proggy folk rock than actual ren fair music. There's a lot more electric guitar than Blackmore admits to in interviews. He takes it very seriously, though.
