new Smiths reunion rumors

I doubt any more credence can be put on this than on any of the other rumors from the past few years, but for the curious, here it is.

I can't imagine Moz not worried about negative fan reaction were the two to resurrect the old band name. Never needed just to play that catalog (all too many words for the same old rumor).

Those two extremely different people were made to mesh musically and I love Marr, but Moz always tours with his shit-hot guitarist. I've not been disappointed.

Isn't The Mozzer on the record stating that he'd rather eat his own testicles than have anything to do with a Smiths reunion?

All joking aside, I hope they opt to stay broken up.

About the only way a Smiths reunion would interest me is if they could get into the headlining slot at a death-metal festival.

That still wouldn't be enough to persuade me to buy a ticket. But it'd be a trip to see if the old Mancunians could rise to the challenge and placate the metal hordes ... or even get off the stage alive.
