I hate to see stories like this. It's never good to see a founding member of a band getting frozen out of it after decades of service, whatever the reason for it may be - and this article, at least, doesn't delve into any reasons for it.
Carlos seems more resigned about it than angry, although that may just be the natural Midwestern horror at the thought of airing too much of one's dirty laundry.
I still think I'm going to head up to Rockford sometime in the next couple of months and check out the Cheap Trick exhibit that's up at the museum there.
