Swimming Pool Q's reissue project

The Swimming Pool Q's have launched a Kickstarter campaign in order to reissue their two A&M albums on CD. Details here.

I bought both of those records on vinyl recently, before I was no longer able to play vinyl.

Hmm... they are in boxes of LPs in the basement. Perhaps I should pop 'em out to take in a listen.

No doubt the stunning range and fantastic art of this record are amazing by any standard.I agreed what's said above!!!

Dang - I want a deluxe reissue of The Deep End! I loved that album, but the A&M albums never did all that much for me. I've always had a soft spot for the Q's though, both because of that first album and because Jeff Calder was one of about 3 people in attendance when my band played at the Metroplex in Atlanta in 1985.

I see this finally came out in June. I didn't know about this band until recently, but based on what I've heard I think I'm gonna have to order this. At points, the vocal interplay between John and Anne reminds me of X, but is arguably even better.
