Well, Michael, if you were hoping to see GN'R reunite this weekend, I'm afraid I have bad news.

To summarize:

With the possible exceptions of Izzy Stradlin and Duff McKagan, Axl Rose doesn't like or respect any of his former bandmates. They're leeches. So's Jann Wenner. He feels the current incarnation of GNR is more deserving of induction.

He doesn't want to make a big deal about it, but he knows everyone else is going to make a big deal about it. And he's a little fuzzy on the whole Marlon Brando Oscars thing.

Oh, and he's schtupping Lana Del Rey.

Sean must've figured "Let's see Ryan Adams got hitched so he's out of the game, and John Mayer seems to have gone a little funny in the head recently and appears to be sidelined. So who's my competition these days? Adam Duritz? Yeah, no worries. I can take my time on this one."

But it looks there's a bold new player in the field of creepy borderline-predators! Axl's shakin' things up big time. What (or more accurately, who) will Penn do as a countermeasure to Rose's incursion on his territory? The world awaits.

Sure you could. Axl would be the one screaming at the hostess for making him wait. Lana would be the girl next to him, trying to maintain a bored yet sexy look in case anyone whips out a camera.
