It's not cool to speculate, but I have to wonder if this is the reason the band set aside their notorious differences with Ozzy and reconvened for a new album. Kind of a now or never thing.

On a slightly humorous note, when I saw the title of this thread, I thought it was "Tony Iommi III", as in Tony's grandson. Visions of Hank III flashed thru my head....

Etta James is in the late stages of leukemia and dementia, so that has become a very sad waiting game for all of us fans. I'm glad I got to see her in the summer of 2006. She was on a jazz fest bill in Saratoga that included the amazing Dave Brubeck, who (at 91) is still out there. . .
