Like avant-Scott: very long, slow, but highly dramatic, emotional "songs" without much in the way of memorable melodies or pop hooks. (Not too far removed from David Sylvian/Japan, actually.) Lyrically, it's intensely private and obtuse, with songs about the Yeti, reincarnation, and a title track that does indeed list 50 words for snow, reminiscent of her last album where she sang out the value of pi to who-knows how many decimals.
