wreckless eric -1978 S/T for me.

speaking of STIFF, today while i worked in the yard, nick lowe's 'switch box susan' with that line, 'when i talk to you i get an extention. and i don't mean alexander graham bell's invention' played over & over in my mind.

i think that 'blow job' thread is to blame

its friday, so wherever you are now, get out of it and go sink a few instead.

Another vote for the Kirsty MacColl album. On the Stiff records boxed set, her tracks are the ones I go to first before the rest of it.

"New Rose" and "Neat Neat Neat" have always been my favorite Damned records. I'll cast my vote here.

It's giving me fits to pass on "Our House" by Madness ... but it's impossible for me to think of that song without also thinking of Elton John, The FIXX, and EBN-OZN.

I have to abstain on this one. I'm familiar with most of the artists who recorded for the label, but truthfully, I don't think I have a single piece of vinyl in my collection with the Stiff logo on the label.

and that EQUATORS album from'82 is heaps fun too. kind of an english beat jr.
the guy i bought from on ebay (many years ago) stuck a little handwritten note inside the Lp. he said he loved the band, saw them in atlanta in '82.

i couldn't swear by it, but wasn't there someone in the tp family also at that show?
