...the word "blowjob" in it.

Sorry, Steve Malkmus, your new tune Senator doesnt reverse the trend: "I know what the senator wants. What the senator wants is a blow job". Ugh, what a terrible lyric. FF>

I dunno. I would submit that "Flower" by Liz Phair is a good song, though maybe it's more notorious than actually good.

I stand corrected.

I stand erected.

Well....

Seeing this question made me think that the only artist who could pull it off would be Blowfly (all due respect to Ms. Phair). So I did a google search and sure enough...

January of 1978 Blowfly released his "Oldies but Goodies" album which updated songs from the 50's to a more Blowfly like style.

Thus the Silhouette's song "Get a Job" became "Get a Blow Job"

other highlights from the album include:

Suck around the clock
10 commandments of sex
I only gets hard for you
and Whole lotta Fuckin' goin' on

I think the true measure of this answer is how much you like Frank Zappa.

"Gettin' blowjobs from the press
Oh I'm jealous - can't you guess?
But I could never fit your dress ..
Queen Elvis. Uh-huh-huh-huh."

- "Queen Elvis" by Robyn Hitchcock

I'm calling this a "GOOD" song.

I'm calling that an amazing song. Completely forgot about it. Out comes the Eye CD.

Fuggin'-A right!

"Loony, oh loony, oh loony oh loony, oh!
Yeah, I said Loony oh loony oh loony oh loony oh loony oh loony oh loony oh loony oh!"

...

"She said she's gonna cut her head off. She only does it for attention.
Like other people I could mention."

..

"I know how Judas felt - but he got paid.
I'm doing this for free - just like Live Aid."

...

"Touched the parts you could reach ... you improved immediately"

I'd say that after three staggeringly so-so albums with The Venus Three, Hitchcock is due for a real snot-knocker of an acoustic album.

I can hope.
And anchor.

Edited to remind myself that "Superman" is actually an electric number from the preceding Hitchcock LP done with The Egyptians.

"Oh God, you're embarrassing sometimes. You're just trash, and you're a loser."

So-so? I love Goodnight Oslo.

But I will admit that Spooked was the last one I was over the moon about.

I loved Olé! Tarantula, but I must admit, RH's subsequent two albums with the Venus 3 haven't had the staying power of that first one, IMO.

It takes both "Mr. Jones" by the Psychedelic Furs and "Mr. Jones" by Talking Heads to conjure up enough good mojo to cancel out the utter horror that is "Mr. Jones" by Counting Crows.

Y'know...I forgot the post from Aitch that changed the subject matter. I was really impressed and surprised both by how many songs you guys knew with the phrase "blow job" in them and how many actual songs actually had the phrase "blow job" in them.

And then I tried locating the phrase in "Mr. Tambourine Man", and was embarrassed to myself at the realization.
