War of the Subway Buskers

War of the Subway Buskers

A musician down at Suburban Station played sounds that would make Cale, Eno and Nico proud. He was a fresh change from the R & B crap SugarPie Honeybunch that street belters regularly vomit. He was playing a cello that had an electronic box hooked up to it that added sitar and harmonium. He was drowning out the saxophone player and guitar picker. I wanted to tell him that he was bringing a tear to the eye of this TPer, but his eyes were closed in concentration. I'm glad to see the Cale, Eno, Nico experimentation being carried out at 18th & Market, Center City, Philly. And of course, I gave him a few bucks.
