Speaking of album covers and Big Black, I always thought that Big Black's spoof of Cheap Trick was a classic.

And, by popular demand (?), here's the back cover for the original Headache LP. Again, but more so, WARNING, not for the squeamish.

Then there's, of course, this classic by Christian Death.

[recordrobot.blogspot.com] Tragic Mulatto - Judo for the Blind - I bought this sight unseen from Alternative Tentacles via Subterranean Records in `88. The EP was set for 45 speed and I mistakenly played it at 33 - I didn't notice anything until the record was over.

Though for sheer tastelessness - the Feederz "Teachers in Space" with a picture of the space shuttle blowing up wins.

I see the Feederz released a third LP, Beautiful as a Rock in a Cop's Face. Fun website they have (try not accepting the javascript application).

Another great homage.
B.A.L.L.'s 'The Bird (period)'

and the Beatles' original plastic-dolls-and-cuts-of-meat cover of 'Yesterday and Today'

It's a pretty funny photo. Strange that it was recalled.
