Forget the supermarkets. The real hipsters are programming bumper music for radio sports broadcasts. Yesterday, I heard The Fall' Cruiser's Creek as the repeated ostinato during a Red Sox pregame show.

Just came back from lunch - Quizno's was playing Patti Smith's version of "So You Wanna Be A Rock n Roll Star."

Everyone there was probably wondering why that guy stopped dead in his tracks and was standing wide-eyed in the middle of a sandwich shop.
