You beat me to it. I just came here to post it. . . How freakin' lame. Favre would never do that. Who's to say it even references him (though it clearly does; they are from Fort Collins). I love the band's response.

I'd like to get the Terrell Davis perspective on the issue.

Certainly, Tim Tebow could offer some useful insights.

Bill Romanowski? Steve Atwater?

John Elway is a douchebag.

I wish Elway the band all the best. Although I'd much rather support a band called Plunkett.

by the way, I had a football card when I was a kid that I traded for because when you're 10 years old the name Boobie Clark is really funny.

So sue me, Boobie. But I would totally go see a band called Boobie Clark.

"Ladies and gentlemen....BOOOOOOOOOOOBIE CLARK!"

The band from Fort C. probably has gotten more publicity from the quarterback's attitude than they possibly could from their own music or performances. Good for them, I say.

Didn't Pearl Jam originally go with the name Mookie Blaylock?

I've always thought I would've been a fan of Mookie Blaylock (the band) regardless of artistic merits. Pearl Jam's Ten is a nod to Blaylock's uniform number.

I used to know a guy who played guitar for a band called Clavin. The all had tattoos of the old USPS eagle with the band name beneath:

The music wasn't very good (your basic thrash-type stuff), but they had done a nice job cultivating a brand.

Is there a band named Biletnikoff? 'Cause that's a great band name.
