GREAT SHOW EXPERIENCE

saw matthew ryan last week in nyc and not only was it a great show but i also had the pleasure of talking with him at length about a eclectic group of subjects before and after the show. what really made the show unique for me was apparently my girlfriend was telling him that i sing his songs around the house {i sing them rather badly} . he actually had me sing with him.
{rather smartly i sang background vocals at a low level and didnt ham it up like most non singing singers}.

And this is how artists connect with fans. You'll remember this experience for the rest of your life, I bet.

I saw him a couple of years ago and he put on a great show. He was opening for someone but I can't remember who - either Tift Merritt or Kathleen Edwards, I think.
