The Joy Formidable's The Big Roar Streaming at NPR

Wow...I really dug A Baloon Called Moaning, but they're definitely more intense and dialed in on this one. I've listened to "Whirring" four times in a row.

I didn't think I could have a bigger crush on Ritzy Bryan until she kicked major ass with her guitar heroics on the crescendo of "Whirring." She's my current nomination for the world's most perfect woman.

They're coming to the Lou in April and that's enough to actually get me out of the house.
