They've called it quits, apparently:

One wonders what becomes of Meg.

Is Meg beautiful? I can't make up my mind.

The answer to your question is:

"Hell yeah!"

She's adorable. I can almost see myself almost abusing myself to the bits of her almost acting in Coffee & Cigarettes. Almost.

She can be my drummer any time. Pa-rump-a-pump-pump!

...

I was never a huge fan of the band. "We're Going To Be Friends" was ace.

Still, no band is an island. However ... there is an island called Reunion.

... or did I dream it?

As my Uncle Bill used to say about Sharon Maughan (the female half of the Taster's Choice couple), she's just so...appealing.

Yes. Meg will wind up in a band with Maureen Tucker -- The Underappreciated Drummers.

That's kind of a hokey farewell message. I'm sure the reunion tour in 2015 will be well-attended.

Not a huge loss, IMO. To me, The White Stripes always have been the least interesting of Jack's band projects. He has stronger collaborators in The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather.

That said, yes, Jack and Meg probably will reunite for a big reunion tour in four or five years.

Jack took Meg's last name? Wow, that's news to me. Boy, was he whipped!
