I had heard a while ago that there would be some reissues coming out this year. Has anybody heard about this? Any news?

They won't be out this year. Ryko will definitely have the first 4 released in '06 - these got held up due to Westerberg working on a film soundtrack and they worked around his schedule. The Sire 4 are more up in the air and have no date for release currently (via Rhino). Whatever they do, they need a full fledged reissue of "Pleased To Meet Me" which, as everyone knows who's heard the astonishingly brilliant demos contained about 20 (or more) fantastic tunes and could be fleshed out into a killer 2 disc set. Remember, Bob played on an early PTMM session, which as time goes by is sort of forgotten. Yes, they made a great album without him, but it was an album they had sort of already mapped out and been through......Oh Christ I'm babbling.

In the meantime, it would be nice if TP updated the Westerberg entry to reflect his pretty cool Vagrant work in the 00s. smiling smiley

Off the track: But I still say that Come Feel Me Tremble DVD needs some damn scene numbers. Finding something on that mutha is impossible. It's like having a VHS tape in DVD form.

Yeah, that drives me crazy on that dvd too.......Also, he really needs to release an album version of the dvd closer "Everything Goes Wrong" - that's my favorite Westerberg solo song and like the bastard he is, it still hasn't shown up on an cd release - I'm also a big fan of the CFMT cd though - I prefer that to anything else he's done solo. The rockers don't seem forced on that one and the ballads are lovely and heartbreaking instead of sappy. What's really upsetting about Westerberg is that for some reason you get the impression he could make an album as good as "Come Feel Me Tremble" anytime he wants......um, "he wants" being the key words.
