Joy Division Piece By Piece

I just read the recent book about Joy Division by Paul Morley. As a Joy D/New Order nut, I can never seem to get enough. So every reissue, book, etc that comes along I'm sure to have.
Paul Morley is obviously someone who has had a little success in various ways within the music biz, and believes he is owed a proper tribute. As one was not forthcoming all these years, he decided to write his autobiography in a book called Joy Division, Piece By Piece. Every other word is either "I" or "we", as if he was really a part of it all. He did write blurbs in the NME at the time, but does that qualify him as a "we" alongside Ian and the boys?
He is so full of himself it's embarrassing to read. I had such a hard time reading this. Good job Mr. Morley, you got your story out there, your very own biography. And all you had to do to get it published was to call it a Joy Division book.

Joy Division 1977-80

Ian Curtis- vocals
Peter Hook- bass
Bernard Sumner- guitar
Stephen Morris- drums
Paul Morley- typewriter

Just had to vent. I've never seen a bigger ego from a journalist in my entire life.

Paul Morley is and always has been an absolute ass and Lee Mavers should have kicked his teeth in for this "introduction" and post performance smugness.
