Sleigh Bells

Is this a band I need to hear or are they 2010's version of Girls (whom I think are pretty decent but not essential listening)? I am a little worn out by twenty-something-weenie-indie-pop-bands, and generally prefer testosterone rock nowadays, but the rave reviews are piquing my interest. Guidance, please, TP'ers.

It reminds me of a holiday ... y'know the one. The one with the jingle bells. And once I get past that, all I can think of are those Beach Boys bells.

And then once I get past that ...

I said to Chuck Berry "I will not sing."
He said "You must be playin' witcha own ding-a-ling."
And there's a mighty judgement comin' ... but I may be wrong.

My first response was the same as Kay's: what a crap band name! And I thought Does it Offend You Yeah was awful. They all really should consider Brad's pulp paperback list:

What are your feelings on Tina Weymouth's vocals, distortion, sampling and percussion provided by the stomping of feet? If you like these things, Sleigh Bells may be the band for you.

Sorry to waste your time on this one. I was exposed to 30 seconds of this band, and the question was satistfactorily answered.
