Universal health insurance for all Americans would be the right and moral and decent thing to do--but I'll take whatever we can get right now. Baby steps. Let the worried folks come to realize that all the crazy Tea Bagger stuff won't materialize if we make sure everyone can go to a doctor and/or hospital when they need to and not go to the poor house as a result.
A Consumer Protection Agency to protect us from the parasitic lenders and a-hole credit card companies would be nice, too.
But I'm a dreamer.
