Shane MacGowan, Paul Westerberg, and Little Wayne ?!

I can sympathize. My teeth suck and I just cancelled a dentist appointment to have my 4 wisdom teeth yanked next week. Too chicken.

Mark E. Smith.

Btw, Nosepail, I had my two upper wisdom teeth removed two years ago. The dentist numbed me up and I hardly felt a thing, so it wasn't too bad. The only bad thing about it was latter day Dire Straits playing Walk of Life through the extraction. I love early Dire Straits.

I've had all my wisdom teeth out. The first go-round (top set) involved only local anasthesia, a mallet and what looked like a modified awl. WHACK! They had to come out - they were growing in sideways.

That was a long time ago. The second session (lower set) was this century and featured complete knockout by injection.

The doctor got about as far as "This is the stuff that's going to ..." and I was out like a light. Never had any post-operative issues and never had to take any of the very posh painkillers they gave me.

I was gonna post a really horrid photo of tooth decay, but they all really grossed me out, so I'll spare you.

:::shudder:::

Get thee to a dentistry!
