Pink stole the show with her high-flying circus act, spinning in a white hammock 50 feet above the crowd.

Beyonce performed a two-song medly, incorporating You Oughta Know into her act.

Green Day went Broadway and cozyed up to some hott backup singers in a dramatic Rent-like rendition of 21 Guns.

It doesn't matter. I have heard one or two songs from Gaga and can't remember them.

I find her performances fascinating and witty. She's like a snuff-film version of Britney's take on Madonna.

See Bugs Bunny and his "Frankie doing an imitation of Rickie imitating Elvis" bit. Is this what pop music has been reduced to? Madonna pastiche?

If you need me, I'll be in the conservatory listening to Galaxie 500's "Peel Sessions."
