Occurred on the way back from my first concert (Iron Maiden, '85). I had been playing guitar for two years. I was a freshman. High school senior drove us to concert, and had not spoken to me the entire night. On the way home I complained to my fellow freshman, wistfully and loudly, how I longed to understand the chordal nuances of Aqualung.
Senior/driver turned around, and said in a low whisper, "Why don't you try putting a capo on the third fret.....and try playing in G minor."
