Faces "5 Guys Walk Into A Bar" I think is my fave single artist one. ......really laid out in such a way that it makes a case for them as an all time great band.

I just checked out the Los Angeles Nuggets box. I had been anticipating that Rhino would re-use a lot of the songs from its 1998 Nuggets box. (Rhino isn't above that. Compare the track listing on its Left of the Dial box to its three CDs of Postpunk Chronicles, if you have nothing better to do.)

Surprise! Only two songs on Los Angeles Nuggets appear on the earlier Nuggets box, and they're both in versions by other artists. I'll have to put this one on my list. Thanks, Fab!

I play my Nuggets I & II box sets every couple months. I like to savor the music. Am still looking forward to getting Children of Nuggets.

I like the Nuggets sets, but have to split my vote between the Jefferson Airplane box that came out a few years ago, the complete Muddy Waters on Chess and the 10-disc set of the Fall's Peel Sessions.
