Don't know when, but I just found out couplea weeks ago when my missus informed me as we watched Pattis' free (!) show on the Santa Monica Pier. Flea was on bass for some reason. Patti had the crowd sing "Happy Birthday" to the Pier (it's 100 this month). She did a hilarious impromptu song about what she'd been doing since she got into town - her hotel, visiting Venice Beach, spilling coffee on herself, watching a "Law and Order" marathon. Never saw her before - does she always do that?
