I know I'm a weirdo in that my fave SBM album is Totally Religious, but I'm still happy to see these come out. Wounded Bird doesn't usually put bonus tracks or do anything but put an album back out there, but at least they're rescuing some good stuff (as well as some crap) from oblivion.

Oh, bloody awesome. Now if they'd just put out a compilation for The Plastics. No Plastics on CD? Something wrong with that.

I went to take a look at the catalog of available CDs on that label's website, and sacre macquerelle, what a lot of dross! Yes, some good music is available from that label, too, but the chaff far outweighs the wheat in their catalog, for the time being.

Yeah, I agree that Wounded Bird puts out a lot of stuff that one wonders why they would bother. But they also put out Polyrock, Kissing the Pink and Holly Beth Vincent, so three cheers for them. I do wish they weren't quite so bare bones with their releases, though. I would've loved to see some liner notes on the Polyrock albums with some insights from Phillip Glass on his first foray in producing pop music.
