I'd really like to know what your selection criteria was - I mean, apart from the fact that you like the songs.

mostly stuff/artists that meant something to TP editorially back in the day

I think the American Idol judges would describe Moon's Beach Boys covers as "pitchy."

But the boy sure loved his surf music.
