I'm lovin it

The Tarantino Soundtrack to Death Proof. Just bought it last week, and it keeps getting better.

Of course, now I gotta look for the track to Planet Terror.

Just watched that flick the first time last week. Good!

Always meant to pick up the Jesus' Son disc on the strength of that Joe Tex cut (plus it's Joe Henry numbers) but never did. If I found both discs today, though, I'd probably spring for Deathproof first.

Death Proof got on my nerves. It was the first Tarantino movie I ever watched where I just wanted to scream "Will you people just shut the fuck up?????"

Normally I'm a fan of his dialogue, but that one just had me wanting to rip out my own intestines and hang myself with them in the theater. Especially once it got to the part where the stunt women were discussing how to borrow the Vanishing Point car and what they were going to do once they did. I was muttering to myself "God, I hope Kurt Russell kills you all."

Yeah, the dialogue nearly capsized the flick, but it was better than Planet Terror. And, of course, I loved the "coming attractions."
