You are an indie rock star and they are making a biopic about your rise to fame, the floors you slept on while on tour, your record collection, your band's Matador reissues and the time you sat on your Grandpa's knee.

Who do you cast to play your grandfather(s)?

My mom's dad died before I was born, so I only know him from pictures. Maybe Bruce Willis? With a faulty ticker.

The role of my mother's stepfather goes to Ed Asner. He spends most of his time wheezing into an oxygen machine.

My dad's father gets played by whoever looks the most like a pudgy Vince Lombardi.

My stepfather's dad was separated at birth from Sam The Eagle (yes ... from The Muppet Show) so that is by far the easiest one to cast. Does anyone know Sam's agent?

My maternal great-grandfather gets played by Quentin Tarantino made up to look like he's 95 years old. He wears a fedora, smokes a pipe, and lets me blow out the Zippo. He doesn't ever curse, so Quentin will need to really concentrate on his manners.

I'd cast John McGiver to play my grandfather. (Inside joke; he is/was my grandfather.)

the Arquette family old timer gets my vote.

I would like Christopher Plummer to stage a one-man play in which he portrays everyone in my family in the 20th century. I think the concept would fail if anyone else were cast.

not knowing yr fam i wld still venture bea arthur as potential sub for CP
