The idea I like on this, is to let their brothers in arms, the oil industry, bail them out - 25 billion is about only 1/4 or most individual oil companies' quarterly profits from almost any Bush year.
I'm from Michigan and I say let 'em sink. No single industry has been more responsible for eroding the middle class, while weakening the power of the US worker, over the past 30 years, not to mention the environmental impact or larger social affect.
Just follow the wealth trends of Detroit zip codes over the past 100 years and you'll see a clear blueprint and results of the corporatization of America.
After 8 years of Republican no-bid give-aways, graft and blatant greed, now their incredulous push to corporate socialism is making my head asplode.
I'm even beginning to get on board with the rumors that
China is on the move to purchase the big 3 - hell, it might be the only way to get energy efficient cars in my lifetime. I for one welcome our Chinese zombie overlords!
