my iPod is loaded with people who died. Not only House Of Freaks and Gun Club(Jeffery Lee Pierce)but Fad Gadget, Kirsty MacColl, Joy Division, Klaus Nomi, Minutemen and a ton more whose band members passed away(i.e. Lush, PiL, Comateens, B52s)....

Made for a rather haunted ride down to North Carolina(from NJ)this past week.

Lately, lots of the Ronnie Lane material from the Faces and the Heartbreakers have been getting plays from me for artists no longer with us.

As well as some still living ghosts : Peter Perrett, Lee Mavers......

If by PIL you mean John McGeoch, then you should probably load it with some Magazine and Siouxsie & the Banshees for some good examples of what he could REALLY do on guitar.

My wife and I throw a theme party every year. The next one is "history" ... so I'm putting a playlist together for the iPod. All artists who have died.
