I missed his keynote speech, but I'm told it was more of an interview (by Hal Willner) than a speech and mostly concerned Berlin.

Seems strange to me that Reed would discuss Terri Nunn's band when he has his own career to talk about.

this is the first sxsw in a long time w/out steve wynn.

He wasn't there last year, either. But the year before, when ...tick...tick...tick got its American release, he was all over the place - I think he played something like 6 gigs in 4 days. I saw three of those gigs - he was amazing every single time.
