Concert update

Went to see Annie Lennox last night. Superb show!

Tomorrow night is Los Straitjackets. Should be a ton of fun.

Saw British Sea Power on Monday @ Maxwells in Hoboken. Fell a bit flat as compared to past shows but still enjoyable.

i think Pylon are playing NYC this evening and tomorrow night). Sadly, I won't be able to either.

The Bush Tetras have a new record coming out and are scheduled to make some noise at Crash Mansion Oct. 26th....also in NYC....and, again, I won't be able to make this one either. Psshhh.

Pylon is playing together again?!? When did that happen? And how is Vanessa getting the time off from Kinko's?

No. we're cool. We've worked out a payment plan, but I told him my good friend Delvin was good for the interest.

But seriously, Eddie grew up in the Albany area, here returns here often, and I've done a lot of stories about him. If it weren't for property taxes, he'd probably move back upstate. But he lives outside Nashville.

The show last night was a blast! I did get to say hi to the band, but I was concerned about that money issue. So I told them my name was Ira.

I guess they bought it, because they asked what's up with Yo La Tengo.

Speaking of Yo La Tengo, they're doing a Freewheelin' tour (acoustic) as a preemptive strike regarding their music for the Haynes Dylan biopic (or postmodern exercise, if you prefer).

Glad to hear the show was good...I just love that "Itchy Chicken'" The spirit of Link Wray lives on.
