Jeez, I recently saw Shane on Henry Rollins' tv show - teeth rotted out so bad it's like he's got a speech impediment: "I kithed my girl, by the gathworkths wall..." And they left in a drunken pre-song rant against Bush: "mumble mumble...fuck Buth...mutherfukerth..."

So this should work out.

Wow! This sounds like a really bad idea.

20 years ago, Shane Macgowan's face looked like it had been run over by a steamroller. What the hell does it look like now? Like the guy who opened the Arc of the Covenant in the first Indiana Jones movie? Can we fathom the amount of alcohol that has disappeared down that gullet?

By the way, how out of it am I if I have never heard of Babyshambles?

My hopes are high Pete has it together - I thought "The Blinding EP" was really good and "Delivery" is a wonderful single in all it's Kinks-y glory.

Haven't heard anything else yet though........the first album was mostly a dud except for a couple tracks like the, er, Kinks-y "Albion" and a few others.
