It had been a while since I'd seen a ska show, and I guess I'd forgotten that tendency for ska audiences to move in a circle on the floor — forming a "skanking swirl" more than a mosh pit.

Question for our antipodean brethren here: when a ska band plays for an audience south of the equator, does the swirl of bodies on the floor move clockwise?
