Got my Pulp tickets to The Tabernacle this morning. And since we HAD to see Pulp, We'd be crazy not to miss Sparks the next night. I'd previously not been able to talk myself into going. Got those tickets too. My wife found rooms at the Hilton Home2Suites 900 feet from the venue in prime tourist Downtown Atlanta for $129/night??! This is one aspect of the economy in chaos that I'd not anticipated. I expected lodging adjacent to World of Coca-Cola/Georgia Aquarium to be closer to $300/night. None of the show tickets were onerously expensive, thankfully. So I'm seeing the best bands in the US/UK back-to-back.

As it happens, we have tickets to two Seattle shows (The Waterboys and Sparks) during the week of the Red Rocks show. Otherwise, I'd seriously consider making the trip home.
