Holsapple hasn't toured with REM in years. Scott McCaughey and, until recently, Ken Stringfellow have been the backup guys for a decade or so, at least.

A couple of SXSWs ago, I saw Holsapple play a duo set with Chris Stamey that was heavy on stuff from their album Mavericks, with some new tunes thrown in for another duo project. I haven't heard anything about that since, though.

The dB's reunited around that same time and have been playing shows on a semi-regular basis since.
