Setlist from last night (09/10 October)

I don't usually give birthday tributes to deceased musicians (because I'd spend each week's show covering them all), but finding out that John Lennon and John Entwistle had the same birthday made it hard to resist ... especially when I heard "Boris the Spider" covered by Sean Ono Lennon (who shares his dad's birthday).

Glad you dig it. Quite a bit of vinyl in last night's show.

Well, I guess if you HAD to play a Jackson Browne song you could have done worse than "Boulevard"...and it wouldn't have been too hard to do worse.

On the flip side, if you HAD to play one Van Halen song, "Little Guitars" is an excellent choice!

Agree on both artists. "Little Guitars" has become my go-to VH song. And although I don't recall ever playing Jackson Browne on my show, "Boulevard" was the track that instantly came to mind -- the one song I could remember by the dude that would fit well into my setlist.
