 Ride in Seattle

I did make it to see Ride at the Neptune Theatre last night. The place wasn't exactly packed; I was able to stand on the floor, pretty close to the stage, without being jostled or squeezed. The band played with great enthusiasm and energy; they definitely weren't phoning in anything. The mix was a bit bass-heavy, but not so much that it ruined the music.

Lannoy Point
Charm Assault
Rocket Silver Symphony
Dreams Burn Down
In a Different Place
Leave Them All Behind
All I Want
Vapour Trail
Drive Blind

White Sands
Chelsea Girl

A quartet called Lo Moon, from L.A., opened the show. They showed a bit of a shoe-gaze influence, without the occasional tendencies toward instrumental overload. Good late-might mood listening.
