Thanks for your concern, STEVE. Between the lengthy vacation in which I blew off nosepail and spending lots of time with my daughter this summer, I've had less time to listen to music and spend on the internet. And oddly, getting laid off from my job in early July has somehow resulted in my having LESS time to do both of those things. But fear not - I'm never very far away from you lovable losers!

Bummer! I thought you were leading up to "getting laid" but it turned into "getting laid off".

hiya rhett, so good to see you.
i know you're an environmental guy, and it just so happens i have a friend that works for the FDA. He says we have a real problem with keeping a large portion of our native scrub habitat from being trampled by wild hogs. i think he might be able to get you some government trapping work here in Fla. if you're interested. however, the indie music circuit of artists NEVER seems to make in down here.

Sad news about the layoff, Rhett. I've been there, more than once; in fact, that's how I ended up moving this year. So I can relate. Hang in there!

Thanks, dudes - I'm not too worried about it. I really have been using the free time to spend some extra time with my kid, so it's been good. I'll crack down for real after Labor Day, I reckon.
And thanks for the offer of the hog trapping, STEVE, but I think I'll just keep trapping hogs here in Stumptown, if you know what I'm sayin'.....
