Thanks to the Russian ladies in Pussy Riot for reminding us that for all the silly "rock & roll is rebellion" posturing we like to indulge in in the U.S., there are still places in the world where it can indeed get your ass thrown in jail.

This isn't a story I've been following closely, but I'd like to ask a few questions:
- Are those ski masks hand-crafted knitting or macramé?
- The colors are wrong, but gestalt is practically forcing me to see that photo as one of those Google adverts. Am I the only one?

That's why 99+% of Pussy Riot's fans are likely not comfortable with the mainstream media - which he unsurprisingly seems to think is a good thing, working for it and all.

Is he saying that unless one agrees with 100% of what Pussy Riot is agitating for, then one ought not bother protesting their being jailed at all? Really? So if you don't agree with every bit of someone's politics, it's okay to turn a blind eye if they're imprisoned solely to shut them up?
