 Kilbey Whigs out

Just saw a storming Afghan Whigs set last night (although it was pretty light on songs from Congregation). Imagine my surprise when Dulli says that when they started out, one of the first songs they ever did was by The Church and that “we’re going to do it tonight with the guy that wrote it”. Out comes Steve Kilbey and they launch into a driving version of One Day, complete with Elaine dancing from Mr Kilbey.
