Funny, I'm listening to Brave Combo right now. Tho it's not one of their polka album. 2000's "The Process" is sort of their belated attempt to hop the '90s alt bandwagon with downbeat, rock-ish songs.
Great live band - you WILL do the Chicken Dance. And the Hokey-Pokey. And you'll like it.

- What Capitalism Was: an album of Philip Glass covers for accordion. It's a free on-line download
- I know next to nothing about merengue, but I've got a wonderful album by Angel Viloria, who was apparently it's king in the '50s.
- Duckmandu "Fresh Duck For Rotting Accordionists": covers the entire 1st DKs album on squeezebox. Could I make this stuff up?
