He seemed to enjoy himself in Sydney a couple of months back.
Fingers crossed.

Precoda is too busy winning teaching awards at Virginia Tech: http://www.universityawards.vt.edu/award.php?item=473
You ever cross paths with him, Erik?

NOTE TO SELF:

Do NOT get stodgy day job photo files mixed up with images from glorious, feedback-driven youth.
:::sigh:::
PS - Don't you just LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE that guitar? I do.

I'd actually prefer Paul B. Cutler to Precoda (sacrilege, I know), but he seems to be retired as well.
Jason Victor is, at least, Precoda and Cutler's spiritual descendent.

Nope, not yet--he probably moves in loftier academic circles than I do (in that I don't move in any).
As far as guitarists turned academics go, I still rank Sterling Morrison higher.

I call it the Steve Wynn Band with special guest Dennis Duck. I also call it spinach, and say the hell with it.
God, I'll bet Kendra's looking beautiful these days.

Steve Wynn interview where he talks about this tour. He mentions Cutler, but Precoda is conspicuous by his absence. I don't know the story of him leaving the DS - is there bad blood there?
Details.
