Talk about a guy that never got his due. His playing on the live Miles Davis album Pangea is pretty amazing, but he's probably best known for his participation in the widely-despised psychedelic Muddy Waters records.

This guy played on some of the darkest most, intense albums of all time. Those mid-70's live albums of Miles Davis, Pangea, Agharta and Dark Magus are extremely difficult. His guitar playing is wild and explosive.
These albums are well before their time... and we still haven't caught up yet.
