That's a pisser. But I guess we now know a shoo-in for the next induction class at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

That's awful. I always liked her. I didn't know she was sick.

There goes the Summer.

...

Weird. 63 used to seem old.

Was she still disco? Was she even making music?

She made some great electro-pop that any Kraftwerk fan could dig. I bought a few of her records late '80s or so and was surprised to hear how blatently New Order ripped-off "Our Love" for "Blue Monday."

Brian Eno has said that he was so impressed with her and Georgio Moroders' attempts to mix the electronic/synthetic with human soul, he stopped working on "Before and After Science," threw everything away, and started all over again.

This really sucks. She seemed eternally young to me.

She was a singular vocal talent and by all accounts an even better person. 63 is way too young.
